Amara

Amara is a sophomore at Metea Valley High School. At Metea Valley, Amara enjoys participating in Youth and Government, Speech Team, Varsity Softball, and the National English Honors Society. During the summer, Amara is an avid Senior Youth Volunteer at the Morton Arboretum, a junior counselor at Robert Crown's Body Trek camp, and she runs a summer camp for elementary-aged students that she co-founded, Adventures in STEAM. In her spare time, you might find Amara singing, reading, playing club softball, volunteering, or goofing around with her siblings! Amara is passionate about increasing awareness and education on healthy eating habits. She is excited to be a graphic design intern at the OLI Gardens and looks forward to making a difference in her community!
