Anitej

Anitej Siluveru is going to be a senior at Metea Valley High School and is a passionate intern with the OLI Gardens. He is involved with and has won numerous state and national accolades in activities such as VEX Robotics, Business Professionals of America, SkillsUSA, and other various clubs. He is also a vice president of the Model United Nations club and was heavily involved in the creation of the inaugural MVMUN, Metea Valley's first Model United Nations conference. Outside of school, Anitej enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and he enjoys going outside and being active. He is involved in his community as a member of the executive board for the Aurora Chapter of the non-profit organization Merry Tutor, which helps to offer free tutoring services to children. Along with this, Anitej regularly volunteers at a local hospital and organizations like the Hessed House, a homeless shelter. After seeing the prevalence of food insecurity in his own community, Anitej is grateful for the opportunity to directly use his own skills to address the problem of food insecurity with the OLI Gardens.
