Zara

Zara Saleem is a junior at Metea Valley High School. While not at OLI events, you may find Zara playing travel and school soccer, co-captaining and competing on the Speech Team, volunteering as a Senior Youth Volunteer at the Morton Arboretum or designing creative videos & graphics for the Metea Mane. Her love for baking led her to start her own cookie business, Best Bakes, through which she shares her sweet tooth and baking expertise with others. In addition, five years ago, she and her sisters founded an educational summer camp & tutoring business, Adventures in STEAM. Zara is passionate about educating young kids about the importance of teamwork, generosity and healthy lifestyles. Furthermore, she continuously strives to utilize her talents and values to give back to her community and provide opportunities to children who have yet to discover their full potential. As on OLI graphic design intern, Zara is excited to design & share engaging and creative content for viewers!
